Masserberg
Masserberg is situated directly at the Rennsteig Trail and has long traditions as Health Resort and Spa. Its location high above the Thuringian Forest, away from the traffic of all busy roads or industry, assures a healthy and favourable climate. The traditional houses with slate roofs and facades, the modern area of the town health spa and the extensive green spaces are characteristic for Masserberg. It is particularly beautiful when a thick layer of snow covers the landscape during the wintertime.
