KOFUKU NO NIWA Japanese Garden

The town of roses Bad Langensalza is a very special experience for all rose lovers and those who appreciate beautiful plants. A guided tour takes you through a well-designed complex of parks and theme gardens. Breathtaking beauties are found everywhere, from all areas of the flora, displaying their colours, shapes and scents. There are a health resort park, a palace park, a rose garden, a botanic garden and since autumn 2003 also a Japanese garden. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of wild roses and rare plants from all over the world.

Opening hours of gardens: May-October daily from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Opening hours of visitor information centre: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mon-Fri; from 1st May - 31st Oct. from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sat/Sun/public holidays. The ear phones for audio tours are available at the visitor information centre or in the Friederike Thermal Baths (deposit must be paid), Japanese garden with tea ceremonies and guided tours.
